This lawn care product is specifically formulated for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. It should be applied to a dry lawn when the grass and weeds are actively growing, and the application must be immediately followed by watering the lawn. Scotts recommends using one of their own spreaders to ensure even distribution. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, set the dial to 4 ¼, and for Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ¼.

It's important to note that Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & Feed2 should not be applied during the winter dormancy period. Instead, wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply the product. Additionally, this weed and feed product should not be used on Bermudagrass lawns.
