For optimal results, it is recommended to apply this product in the late spring or early summer when air temperatures consistently range between 70°F and 90°F and the danger of frost has passed. The use of a Scotts® spreader is recommended for application (please refer to spreader settings on product label).
It is important to water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
